SEND Tutor
Pay starting from GBP25 per hour
Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with Gateshead Local Authority to provide tuition to a young person with Special Education Needs. This individual is 10 years old and currently on a waiting list for a specialist placement, you will be acting as their alternative education provision. The young person has a variety of conditions, including Global Developmental Delay, Attention Deficit Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder, alongside mental health conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, empathetic tutor to utilise their skills & make a meaningful difference in the lives of a vulnerable individual. While the focus is on Maths & English, the Tutor will need to be proactive, creative and caring in their role.
