Senior Accountant – Business Services – Manhattan
A national Professional Services firm based in New York City has created a new role on its staff for an experienced Senior Accountant. Reporting to the Assistant Controller and collaborating with team members across various departments, this individual will be a key contributor to monthly General Ledger accounting activities.
Primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Oversee daily, monthly, and annual GL accounting activities
- Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Review and approve expenses and AP transactions
- Product financial reporting packages and supporting documents
