We are currently seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. As Senior Accountant you will own the general ledger, support month‑end close and provide oversight to our AP and AR team members. This is a new role ideal for a new CPA or CPA candidate who is looking for a role with a clear career growth path.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists the Controller with various daily, monthly, and yearly departmental functions including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance and analysis, month‑end closing procedures, reports and audits
- Maintain fixed asset continuity schedules
- Customer rebate review and analysis
- Prepare GST/HST filings, Stats Canada filings, payroll reconciliations and other statutory compliance requirements
