Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Review working papers, summary schedules (including alphalists and summary lists), and BIR tax returns prior to filing to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Review payroll tax, ITR, and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with business permits, PCAB requirements, and PEZA documentation
- Support financial reporting, payroll compliance, and monthly/annual statutory submissions
- Handle client and supplier tax inquiries and stay updated on tax regulations
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to tax and compliance matters
- Coordinate documentation and communication during BIR audits (LOA, NOD, formal letters)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
- CPA holder
- Minimum 5 years relevant accounting experience
- Experience handling BIR audits and direct interaction with BIR officers
