Job Description
The Senior Accountant, a key member of the Accounting and Financial Services (AFS) General Accounting team, will ensure the integrity of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, provide accurate financial reporting, support month-end and year-end close processes, and assist with audits. This role involves collaborating with the Accounting Manager to develop, maintain, and enhance documentation, workflows, and process narratives, as well as training, developing, and supporting the accounting staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper accounting of transactions, reserves, and other estimates in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
- Stay current with industry, regulatory, and technical accounting developments to identify and communicate potential impacts.
- Prepare and file regulatory reports and other compliance deliverables on a monthly, annual, and ad-hoc basis.
