Senior Accountant 10702 General Overview: Responsible for accurate and timely accounting of the organization's lease portfolio in accordance with ASC 842, including initial recognition, ongoing measurement, and reporting of lease-related balances. Responsibilities:
- Oversight of recording lease agreements, modifications, and terminations accurately in the accounting system in compliance with ASC 842.
- Create, monitor, and enhance a robust system of controls, procedures, and documentation for lease accounting.
- Recommend updates to accounting policies related to leases and ASC 842 compliance.
- Review lease transactions for compliance with Company policy and accounting standards.
