Overview
The Senior Accountant will oversee project-based financials monthly reporting and the end-to-end accounting cycle including compliance with South African tax and financial legislation. This role includes managing a small team and collaborating with both local and international stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own the full accounting function including General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance and Profit & Loss.
- Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and analysis.
- Manage project accounting: project costing, billing, WIP, revenue recognition.
- Ensure tax compliance: VAT, Income Tax, PAYE SARS submissions.
- Prepare and review cross-border transactions, intercompany reconciliations and compliance with international tax implications.
