Our client, a growing upstream oil and gas company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Calgary team alongside a phenomenal leader! This role offers broad exposure across operational accounting functions supporting Canadian oil and gas assets, while also assisting with bringing a small U.S. entity in-house from an outsourced provider.
This is a hands‑on opportunity within a lean and collaborative environment where the successful candidate will work closely with leadership and gain visibility across operations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full‑cycle operational accounting for operated and non‑operated oil and gas assets
- Support CAPEX, OPEX, G&A, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, GST filings, and JIB accounting
