Account Manager Job Description
We are seeking an Account Manager to process accounting records accurately onto a computerized system, prepare annual financial statements, calculate taxation, complete statutory returns, and provide client liaison. Additionally, you will supervise and train junior and intermediate accountants.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise processing of client information
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash control
- Maintain fixed asset register and handle general journals
- Process journal entries and analyze trial balance
- Produce draft financials and working paper files
- Prepare notes to financial statements and formulate accounting policies
- Calculate tax liabilities and conduct tax planning
- Perform vouching tests during audits and reconcile VAT
- Complete statutory returns and manage client liaisons
