Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full month-end close process and ensure timely completion of financial reporting
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
- Prepare and review monthly income statement and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage fixed asset registers and related accounting processes
- Process and reconcile accruals, provisions, VAT, and intercompany transactions
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
- Support annual audits and assist with audit preparation and queries
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and review accounting work where required
