About the role:
The Senior Adviser, Cabinet and Parliament reports to the Manager, Cabinet and Parliament. This varied and challenging position assists the team in managing Cabinet and Parliamentarymatters and provides leadership and training to the team and wider department on Cabinet and Parliamentary matters. This role also strategically plans and oversees a number of key initiatives and improvement projects.
It is an interesting role liaising with stakeholders across the department to process documents according to specific deadlines, standards and procedures. All members of the Cabinet, Parliament Team work flexibly in responding to changing work priorities and demands.
This role enables the successful candidate to build their knowledge and experience in a high-profile, sometimes fast-paced area of the department, while contributing to the implementation of government policy and program objectives.
