Senior Labour Advisor
Reference: JHB -MR-1
Our Client in the Motor Industry is looking for a Senior Labour Advisor.
Duties & Responsibilities
- LLB Degree or equivalent
- Three (3) years’ experience in Labour Law and/or litigation
- At least two years’ experience in arbitrations is compulsory
- Good command of /fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Computer literacy with basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, and Windows Outlook
- Advanced understanding and/or experience in interpretation of employment contracts and agreements
- Dealing with conflict and grievance resolution
- Experience in a trade union environment will be an advantage
- Collective bargaining and health and safety/employee wellbeing
- Knowledge of the structures within the motor industry will be an advantage
- A valid driver's licence
- Willing and able to travel extensively and on short notice
