Senior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Position Purpose
To ensure compliance with the South African Civil Aviation Regulations, Part 145 with regard to managing all engineers and maintenance operations at the Port of operation while maintaining high standards and discipline, and ensuring an uninterrupted helicopter service.
Responsibilities
- Perform all mandatory periodic inspections (MPI) on TNPA aircraft as determined by local authority and equipment manufacturer.
- Rectify all technical defects in accordance with approved procedures.
- Ensure airworthiness and readiness of TNPA aircraft for efficient service delivery.
- Manage all engineering staff at the Port of operation on behalf of the Chief Aviation Engineer.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed to the highest standards at the Port of operation.
