Senior Assistant Director/ Assistant Director (Surveillance and Epidemiology)

Overview

As the Senior Assistant Director/Director with the Tuberculosis Division, you will lead the Surveillance and Epidemiology team. You will oversee the national TB registry functions, which include processing TB notifications, TB surveillance and laboratory data, and contact tracing initiation. You will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee surveillance functions of the Surveillance and Epidemiology team and lead the pre-entry TB screening programme.
• Monitor programme performance, ensuring timely submission of TB surveillance reports and supervise data extraction for routine and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Conduct regular audits and provide feedback to stakeholders on data completeness and timeliness.
