The non‑profit organization has worked in 8 Brazilian states: Santa Catarina, Bahia, Ceará, Piaui, Maranhão, Pernambuco, Alagoas, and Pará. In these 8 states, Rare’s behavior adoption campaigns have reached +6,000 small‑scale fishers and +12,000 community members from +77 communities in 4 years.
