Responsibilities
- Deal with all tax enquiries and investigations from early stage introduction to settlement.
- Manage the tax audits/investigations process through a proactive role to mitigate tax risks.
- Advise client on tax issues relating to audits/investigations and implications.
- Provide advice on information / documentation preparation.
- Review documents for submission to tax authorities.
- Attend meetings to present / explain company’s position on issues raised or documents submitted.
- Conduct tax legislation and case law research related to issues raised by tax authorities.
- Shorten investigation period through satisfactory resolution of issues between client’s company and tax authorities.
- Discuss overall strategy on finalization and settlement of client’s company tax dispute with the company.
