Job Description

Overview

The role focuses on executing and supporting tax compliance and advisory activities covering Malaysian corporate income tax (CIT), Sales and Service Tax (SST), and transfer pricing. The Senior Tax Associate is responsible for preparing tax filings, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) and Royal Malaysian Customs Department requirements.

Responsibilities

Tax Compliance

  • Prepare Malaysian CIT computations, returns, and supporting schedules.
  • Handle SST compliance including preparation, reconciliation, and filing of SST returns.
  • Assist in withholding tax calculations and filings for cross-border payments.
  • Support transfer pricing compliance including Local File preparation and intercompany documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax filings and payments in accordance with statutory deadlines.
