Role Overview
Senior Systems Design Engineer is responsible for the end‑to‑end design, integration, and validation of air traffic communications systems, with a strong focus on radio transmission (HF/VHF/UHF) and voice communication systems (VCS) for civil and military air traffic management (ATM).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system‑level design and architecture for air traffic communications solutions, including VHF, UHF, and HF radio systems, remote radio sites, and central control facilities.
- Develop technical solutions that meet operational, regulatory, and safety requirements; define system interfaces, design redundancy and fallback.
- Perform overall network design analysis, coverage planning, and interference assessments.
- Specify equipment, subsystems, and infrastructure requirements.
