Job Description
My client, a world class and publicly listed Oil & Gas business, have an urgent need for an Internal Audit Manager to join their dynamic and growing Upstream business.
Responsibilities
- Understand, document, and test the key risks and controls within various businesses and operations in the Upstream division.
- Ensure a robust Control framework to meet global standards and comply with all applicable control procedures.
- Establish and document a framework for the audit function, including standard reporting templates, audit calendars, and other functional processes and procedures.
- Manage the internal audit team to carry out audit and risk management of various units and subsidiaries, identifying weaknesses, recommending improvements, and highlighting non‑compliance with statutory and legal requirements.
- Follow up on the implementation of recommendations within mutually agreed timeframes with business/functional heads.
