Senior Automation & Controls Engineer (PLC/HMI)

hackajob is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to join our engineering team in Sheffield. This role involves designing and developing PLC-based control systems and HMI interfaces for industrial automation machinery. The successful applicant will work closely with engineering teams through the full project lifecycle, providing on-site customer training and support. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in PLC programming and strong knowledge of motion control systems is essential. Travel is required for site visits, averaging 2 to 5 days per month.
