The role will require close cooperation and communication with our commercial customers and other key stakeholders including Gas Distribution Network representatives, our key contractors and suppliers, internal departments as well our biomethane team. A strong understanding of the mechanical engineering discipline within an operations and maintenance environment. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and completion of a recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering (minimum 2 years’ experience). This role works across a large geographical area, and you will be working as part of a team as well as on your own, depending on the work you are doing. You will be expected to participate in a standby rota to deliver a 24/7 out-of-hours emergency support service.
