Summary
AC Transit is actively recruiting for the position of Senior Body Mechanic. Under general supervision, the senior body mechanic inspects, removes, repairs, adjusts and repairs metal, fiberglass and glass components on buses and other district vehicles.

Representative Functions
- Examine and diagnose damage to metal, plastic and fiberglass body panels and other parts on district vehicles. Determine proper course of action for repair, adjustment and replacement.
- Remove, repair, adjust and replace body panels, doors, seats, flooring, destination signs and windows.
