Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end bookkeeping across multiple client accounts
- Preparation of monthly management accounts (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports)
- Debtors, creditors, VAT, and general ledger reconciliations
- Statutory submissions and compliance reporting
- Assistance with internal and external audits
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Support of broader finance and reporting functions within the business
Required Proficiencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Proficiency in Xero, Sage, SimplePay, SARS eFiling, and EasyFile
- Strong Excel skills and financial reporting capability
- Solid understanding of South African tax and statutory requirements
- Ability to manage multiple accounts independently and accurately
