About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Building Compliance Officer to join our monitoring and compliance team.
In this role, you’ll lead and carry out compliance, auditing and enforcement activities across the district, focusing on post-consent compliance, including Building Warrants of Fitness (BWOF) and specified systems. You’ll also provide guidance and mentoring to build capability across the team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading audits and inspections of BWOF buildings, including IQP compliance
- Investigating non-compliance and preparing evidence for enforcement or prosecution
- Issuing notices and documentation under the Building Act
