Senior C# Software Engineer - WPF (Abingdon, Oxfordshire)
Are you an experienced Senior C# Software Engineer actively looking for a new role? If so, my client has a superb opportunity to strengthen their R&D team. This is a hands‑on role where you will play a key part in the design, implementation, and debugging of software used to control special purpose machines, while also providing technical leadership and mentoring to a small team of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing software to integrate and manage motion, vision, and laser systems.
- Creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces using WPF.
- Remaining hands‑on with coding while guiding best practices across the team.
- Leading the full software development lifecycle for new projects, taking ownership of delivery and quality.
- Mentoring and supporting junior/mid‑level engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
