**General Responsibilities:**
Perform computer aided drafting (CAD) for preparation of engineering drawings using industry appropriate software. Uses standard symbol sets and drawings to minimize drawing effort. Performs hand drafting as needed. May reference information from vendor prints, catalogs, and technical manuals.
**Essential Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Serves as the drafting lead, discipline designer and/or drafting approver on multiple projects. The position is responsible for providing illustrated computerized drafting according to project specifications.
+ Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, specification sheets and other data, using computer-aided design (CAD), according to client specifications.
