Responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester care home, you will:
- Look after the needs of residents to deliver quality, person‑centred care and support.
- Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants in collaboration with the Deputy General Manager.
- Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans and reviews.
- Treat residents with dignity and respect their preferences, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Career development opportunities are available, enabling progression into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
