Job Summary
This is a Home Care Assistant role operating in clients’ own homes. The position is restricted to female applicants only as a Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 because it involves providing personal care to women, preserving their dignity and privacy.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and toileting while maintaining dignity and privacy.
- Help with everyday activities including feeding, mobility and light housekeeping.
- Provide comfort, reassurance and support to promote independence and well‑being.
- Record care activities accurately and follow care plans.
- Work flexible hours, including alternate weekend shifts as required.
