Job Description
Responsibilities
- Processing new marine claims in accordance with Claims Best Practice/SOP, and Letter of Authority:
- Issue acknowledgement to insured/intermediaries/marketers
- Appoint marine surveyors/adjusters as needed
- Ensure prompt and accurate claim registration within 5 working days
- Ensure claims file creation in Workview
- Reserves created in PolisyAsia & Meridian
- File all correspondence and documents
- Follow up for initial reports from marine surveyor/adjuster/expert
- Manage CABFAC/CABCO recoveries for outward placements
- Ensure timely issuance of PLAs, RLAs, and SLAs to all following insurers and treaty reinsurers
- Monitoring the progress of claims:
- Follow up with marine surveyors/adjusters/experts for claim status and reserve updates
- Follow up for preliminary, status, final reports
