Job Description
Alstom is seeking a Senior Commodity Buyer in Toronto with 5 to 10 years of experience to lead supplier selection and manage contracts in Civil Works.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead supplier selection processes and contract management
- Support project management for Civil Works commodity
- Contribute to supplier panel development and commodity strategies
- Negotiate with top-tier suppliers in complex environments
- Monitor procurement QCDT and legal project progression
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing or Engineering
- 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Technical knowledge of Civil Works preferred
- Solid negotiation and leadership skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems like GSI or ARIBA
