The CAC I is seeking a Senior Paralegal to support the Department of Justice’s mission. We are looking for candidates who are able to work in an office setting. Senior Paralegal duties focus on litigation support and preparation for upcoming trials. This is an opportunity to provide case management and database maintenance assistance in a litigation support capacity. You will also gain experience using automated litigation support and eDiscovery tools and resources to add to your skillset.
Works under the direction of a Project Supervisor. however, often develops these products with minimal direct supervision other than written guidelines. In addition to functions performed by Paralegals, performs moderately complex legal research; reviews case related materials and, for example, identifies potentially conflicting statements or areas requiring further investigation; writes preliminary drafts of simple legal memoranda and correspondence.
