The Mining Environmental Approvals team at WSP is seeking a seasoned consultant with significant permitting experience. The focus will be on water quality assessments and regulatory compliance, guiding projects from application to approval. Your role will involve mentoring up-and-coming staff while interfacing with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct permitting and regulatory approvals for Ontario metal mines
• Create and review permit applications and technical documentation
• Identify risks and gaps in project plans regarding water management
• Advise and support clients on regulatory interpretation
