Responsibilities
- Lead the logistics function within the PMT, overseeing Marine Logistics coordination and ensuring full statutory compliance.
- Manage end-to-end documentation for the import/export and clearance of vessels, materials and equipments from/to Malaysia.
- Coordinate transportation and custom clearance for all project import/export requirements - Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentations requirements, including knowledge on HS Code classifications
- Monitor logistics cost and identify cost-saving opportunities, including optimizing routing, consolidation and transport modes
- Assess and brief project stakeholders on the required approvals and permits by reviewing latest regulatory and authority requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and tracking reports, with providing regular updates to project stakeholders
