Responsibilities
- Assist and support the provision of dental treatment and dental health promotion for all groups of patients cared for by the Community Dental Service, including those with learning disabilities, behavioural problems, physical disability, mental health conditions, and complex medical conditions.
- Assist the Dental Service Management Team in ensuring that dental facilities operate effectively and safely.
- Support the organisation, monitoring and evaluation of dental care and provide information for the development of services and training of staff.
- Line manage the dental nurse staff, including carrying out appraisal, clinical supervision, managing sickness and leave.
