Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Driller to support our environmental and geotechnical drilling programs in Western New York (Buffalo Area). This full-time position requires experience with soil sampling, installation of various size groundwater monitoring and recovery wells, rock coring, air & mud rotary and geotechnical drilling.
Duties:
- Operation of truck or track mounted drill rig or Geoprobe
- Routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs of tooling and equipment
- Other non-drilling related technical or mechanical task such as treatment system installation and maintenance activities or groundwater sampling
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as lead driller on truck or track-mounted rotary drill rig.
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) with clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test
- 40-hour HAZWOPER training required
