Job Summary
Reporting to the Regional Director, the Senior Electrical Estimator will be responsible for responding to tenders, bid requests, or RFQs in the commercial and institutional market by developing accurate, complete and competitive estimates for tenant improvement projects. The estimator will review estimates with Project Managers, Service Managers, and/or Foremen and occasionally with the Regional Director. The estimator works with PMs and SMs from various departments within Ainsworth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough review of specifications and drawings.
- Develop thorough material and labor take-offs.
- Coordinate price packages with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, designers and architects regarding tenders/bid requests.
- Review estimate with Project Managers, Service Managers and/or Foremen to ensure all aspects are in agreement with labor, material, equipment and subcontracting costs.
