We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer specialized in pattern and core box design for foundry applications, focusing on both ferrous and non-ferrous castings. The role involves developing and optimizing tool designs using CAD software and simulation tools to ensure quality, manufacturability, and performance.The Engineer will apply casting knowledge, GD&T standards, and analytical skills to create detailed drawings, improve gating and riser systems, support production troubleshooting, and collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time
A Day In The Life
Role and Responsibilities:
· Create part drawings based on ASME Y14.5M – 1994 standards and complete the projects on time.
· Proven experience as a Tool design (pattern/core box) Engineer - preferably follow foundry practice.
· Optimize the gating and riser design based on the simulation result.
