Technical Excellence:
Conducts assignments in the mechanical engineering field
Has a very good understanding of building codes and standards
Can integrate and coordinate designs with other built environment disciplines
Understands the statutory processes associated with the built environment and construction industry
Plans, organises and manages moderately complex projects
Makes recommendations on alternate solutions to engineering problems
Prepares and presents technical plans and reports
Institutes changes in methods, designs or equipment
May be Project leader on medium sized projects
