Senior Engineering Geologist
is to lead complex projects, mentor talent, and shape our growing Halifax-based team. You will act as a technical leader and trusted advisor, combining scientific insight with practical judgement and translating subsurface conditions into sound engineering decisions. Essential Responsibilities & Duties
Lead and manage engineering geology assignments, including site characterization, slope stability, rock mechanics, coastal geology and geohazard evaluations. Provide technical oversight and peer review of geological and geotechnical investigations. Interpret subsurface and geological data and deliver transparent, defensible recommendations to clients and project teams. Support proposal development, client engagement, and project planning. Mentor and guide junior and intermediate staff, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. Partner closely with multidisciplinary teams across GEI’s Canadian offices. Compl...
