Major Responsibilities
- Under direction, with very great latitude for the exercise of independent judgment or action, perform responsible and technically complex work in planning, coordinating and overseeing the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of technically complex environmentally engineered remedies for contaminated project sites, including municipal landfills and manufactured gas plant properties.
- Oversee the development of contracts related to the environmental components of various capital projects.
- Prepare detailed reports on the progress and budget schedules of environmental projects, including those mandated by regulatory agencies for landfill sites.
- Sign waste profile forms, hazardous waste manifests and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) permit applications. Conduct ...
