BACKGROUND:
Indonesia is one of the most hazard prone countries in the world. Located in the ring of fire, frequency and the impact of disasters in Indonesia pose a significant risk to Indonesia’s food security and socio-economic development. With hydrometeorological disasters constituting 75 percent of the total annual hazards, climate change is a notable risk multiplier in Indonesia context.
