FGV Holdings Berhad is a leading global agri‑business and the world’s largest producer of Crude Palm Oil (CPO). This position focuses on corporate tax audit and advisory responsibilities.
Corporate Tax Audit
- Present during tax field audit visits to assist the Company in liaising with Inland Revenue Board (IRB) officers.
- Provide tax advice to the Company in dealing with the IRB’s queries during visits.
- Coordinate with the Company and the IRB, supplying necessary documents and information.
- Review tax‑related documentation relevant to the case.
- Draft and review appeal letters to justify the Company’s stance on tax treatment and to apply for waivers or reductions in tax penalty.
- Assist the Company in formulating strategies toward finalisation of the tax audit with the IRB and in exploring alternative tax dispute resolution avenues.
