Job Description
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of applicable accounting standards, including International Accounting Standards (IAS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and the Companies Act, 2017.
- Ensure the timely completion of management reporting and related analyses.
- Prepare management reports and executive summaries for Board of Directors (BOD) meetings.
- Analyze and report on compliance with the requirements of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and Management Association of Pakistan.
- Contribute to the preparation of the Annual Report, including participation in competitions for Best Corporate Report (BCR) organized by ICAP and ICMAP, and the SAFA Best Report Award.
- Execute cost allocation keys on a monthly basis.
- Manage lease schedules in compliance with IFRS 16 requirements.
- Oversee overall financial reporting to management and AKFED.
