Job Description
The Senior Freight Buyer is responsible for negotiating and managing domestic and cross-border transportation services across North America, ensuring competitive costs, on-time deliveries, and high service levels with carriers and logistics providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service agreements with carriers and transportation providers.
- Manage domestic and international freight operations across the U.S. and Mexico.
- Coordinate FTL shipments and ensure on-time delivery performance.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with logistics suppliers and carriers.
- Analyze transportation costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor logistics KPIs such as freight cost, carrier performance, and delivery metrics.
