Spotify for Authors (SFA) is the creator platform for the audiobook industry—a web application that gives publishers, authors, and narrators tools to manage their catalog, track performance, and distribute content on Spotify. We’re scaling toward 100,000 users across a React/TypeScript frontend, Java backend services, and data pipelines that feed into Spotify's broader audiobook ecosystem.
SFA connects to Spotify's highest-priority bets: expanding audiobook access, building content creation tools, and shaping discovery surfaces. We operate with a short toes philosophy - contribution has no borders, quality is shared, and we use modern tools (including AI) to reduce toil and amplify creativity.
