Job Description
AEI, an STV Company, is looking for a Full-Time Senior Geotechnical Drilling Technician out of our Glasgow, KY location.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform drilling for routine soil sampling projects as well as more difficult drilling tasks including coring in deep overburden, casing installation, mud rotary drilling in excess of 100 feet and instrumentation installations.
Perform shallow coring for foundation investigations with assistance of Geotech Driller.
Responsible for the direction of the drill helper and training new drillers as needed.
Limited operation of dozer to achieve access for drilling equipment.
Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment.
Qualifications and Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ten (10) years' or more of experience performing geotechnical drilling.
