Overview
Thurber has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Prince George, British Columbia . Relocation assistance from within Canada may be available.
Responsibilities
- Project management of geotechnical projects
- Prepare and write proposals, fee estimates, and technical reports as directed by the Engineering or Branch Manager
- Provide technical support and leadership on projects and for staff, including conducting technical reviews of calculations and analyses, as well as performing technical geotechnical analyses of stability, stress, deformation, and foundation response, utilizing a suite of software routines
- Identifying new opportunities and working with the Branch Manager or other specialists within the firm to develop them
