Our client in the mining sector is recruiting an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support large-scale mining and mineral processing projects across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and India. The role focuses on leading advanced geotechnical studies, performing conceptual and detailed designs, mentoring junior engineers, and bidding for new work while supporting project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead advanced geotechnical studies with delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope.
- Perform conceptual and detailed geotechnical engineering design.
- Participate in scoping requirements for proposals.
- Assist with growing the local geotechnical discipline across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and India.
- Participate in and contribute to design reviews.
- Prepare and/or review project procedures, standard specifications, and design criteria.
