Senior Geotechnical Engineer

WSP has a new opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to be part of ourMine Wasteteam on afull-timebasis based inMidrand.The typical role and responsibilities of this role is to provide Geotechnical Engineering services in the mining, infrastructure as well as property and buildings sectors

Responsibilities

• Project management of geological and geotechnical projects, including multi-disciplinary projects, tailings facility site investigations, buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Interpret geological and geotechnical data, perform analysis, and draw conclusions/recommendations.
• Prepare proposals, tenders, reports, and other technical deliverables
• Manage, perform analysis and conduct field observations and carry out geological and geotechnical reporting for projects.
• Use judgement in making adaptations and modifications where required and in association with other Senior Engineers.
