Position Summary
Senior Investment Specialist, Real Estate & Mortgages – full‑time, regular business unit. The role focuses on specialized expertise on Syndicated Mortgage Investments (SMI) and real estate investments, providing guidance on policy initiatives for alternative mortgage lenders and real estate issuers. The Specialist works closely with senior legal counsel and accountants, supports compliance reviews and sweeps, contributes to continuous disclosure planning, and delivers strategic advice on emerging risks, market trends, and policy issues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as subject‑matter expert on real estate investment structures and syndicated mortgage investments, including exemptive relief, regulatory approvals, prospectus reviews, registrant conduct, and potential enforcement concerns.
